In this hands-on session, we will work with the Legal Design 360 - a visual framework for mapping out all the important processes of your organization. We will jointly fill out this mind map for your specific situation and organization. In this way, we identify opportunities for greater impact and efficiency at a glance, and identify where energy leaks and risks arise.

Navigating the legal function

A dynamic, interactive and visually appealing overview of the various activities of the legal team of a large organization. This tool is used to simplify complex information, align legal activities with the company's new strategy, and facilitate efficient reporting and communication to management.

Visual report on ongoing legal proceedings

This visual report on ongoing legal proceedings is designed to optimize communication with the board. This report turns complex legal matters into clear, easy-to-understand visuals, such as graphs, timelines, and status bars. It provides a direct overview of current affairs, risks, and possible impacts, allowing the board to make effective decisions.

Videos to support complex litigations

We developed videos for various legal proceedings and arbitrations. By presenting complex (technical) information in an accessible and visually appealing way, we help the judge understand the nuances of the case in order to reach a solid opinion. Read here more about litigation visuals, and here about the experiences of litigators.

Dynamic advocacy with interactive timelines

We developed interactive timelines for use during hearings. Lawyers can interactively click through relevant events and present evidence, in order to respond to court questions or during replies. This approach makes it possible to advocate dynamically and to respond directly to developments during the hearing. This is in contrast to the traditional, linear way of pleading where pre-prepared pleadings are read aloud. This method improves the effectiveness of the argumentation and makes it easier for the judge to follow the chronology and key points of the case.

Visuals about the financial implications of legislative proposals

By using infographics, diagrams and summary diagrams, essential information is made visually accessible, increasing the efficiency of preparing for debates. This approach ensures that members of parliament are well informed and able to participate effectively in discussions and decision-making, with a thorough knowledge of the proposed legislation.

Communication strategy for re-accreditation of educational institutions

For the re-accreditation of a major educational institution, we have developed a comprehensive communication strategy. We linked concrete actions to the abstract assessment criteria of the accrediting body. This approach allowed us to clearly show how specific initiatives and programs within the institution directly contribute to meeting the accreditation requirements. We made videos of students and lecturers in which they provided tangible examples of how the institution puts these criteria into practice.

Interactive business policy about generative AI

The use of AI can involve risks for companies. Together with our customer, we have developed an interactive policy on responsible use of gene-AI.

Interactive tool about representation of legal entities

We have developed an interactive policy tool that provides clarity about who can represent the legal person externally. This tool is designed with intuitive question-and-answer navigation, allowing users to find the right answer to their question within five clicks. This eliminates the need to read through long documents and significantly reduces the amount of inquiries to the legal team. By providing direct access to specific information about powers of representation, this approach reduces the risk of ambiguities and errors. The result is a more efficient organization where employees can navigate independently through representation policies.

ESG compliance policy in the picture

We developed an interactive compliance guide on complex ESG regulation. The tool is designed as a user-friendly click guide where team members can navigate independently. By going through a series of simple questions, they can determine exactly which legal regime applies to their specific situation. This solution reduces the legal team's dependence on basic questions, leading to a more efficient and self-sufficient approach to compliance within the organization.

B2B sales contract

A clearly formulated B2B contract speeds up closing deals and prevents confusion. This contract has been drafted in such a way that it not only scrupulously complies with legal requirements, but also clearly reflects company values. By presenting the essential terms and agreements in simple, understandable language, we ensure that both parties can work towards an agreement with confidence.

Legal map of Amsterdam

Amsterdam has an extensive network of social counselors, legal counters, court shops, district teams, legal office hours and other (informal) legal assistants. But citizens have trouble finding the right counter. This project provides an overview of all free legal aid workers in the city. Check out the map juridischekaart.nl.

One-pager infographic about B2B sales contracts

We developed a template infographic that summarizes the crucial elements of a B2B sales contract. Involved team members simply fill in the template with the variables from the contract. This visual tool streamlines the internal approval process by presenting key contractual points in a clear and concise manner. This makes it easier for teams to quickly review and understand the content of the contract, reducing the time required for consultation and approval.

An understandable privacy statement for the residents of Utrecht

Every organization must be transparent about the processing of personal data. That is already difficult enough as a small company. But for a large municipality, which performs hundreds of tasks for more than 360,000 residents, that is almost impossible. Almost then. Together with the Municipality of Utrecht, we developed an understandable privacy statement. Which provides the residents of Utrecht with insight into more than 90 processing processes. With the clear layout, users quickly navigate to the information that is important to them. It is explained in plain language, supported by an insightful image.

Corporate governance in the picture

As companies grow, governance becomes more complex. This delays decision making. We created a clickable governance dashboard for management and the supervisory board. So that the right information is always at hand.

Post-IPO Guide

This interactive and clickable post-IPO guide is specifically designed to guide founders and employees of scale-ups who have made the switch to the stock market. This guide clarifies the complexity of stock market regulation and compliance using simple, directly applicable guides and checklists. It provides a clear overview of new obligations and practices, making the transition to a listed company smooth and transparent.

Visual Term Sheet

The Visual Term Sheet promotes transparency, efficiency, and smoother negotiations during seed funding rounds. We transformed the traditional term sheet into an intuitive, visually appealing page that outlines the core terms of the investment. The goal is to provide both investors and founders with a clear overview of the agreements. Using structured visuals, diagrams, and simple language makes it easier for all parties to understand the key terms and conditions.

Visual training material

We've developed a range of infographics as visual training material. These infographics are designed to present complex concepts and processes in a clear and accessible way, enhancing the learning experience. They serve as an effective tool for quickly conveying information, stimulating engagement, and facilitating the memorization of the subject matter.

Contract playbook for the sales team

We created a contract playbook for the sales team that gave them a quick insight into their negotiation margins. This significantly improved risk management and reduced the need for the legal team to be involved every step of the way. The playbook provided the sales team with clear guidelines on negotiable elements, allowing them to negotiate more confidently and efficiently and close deals faster.

The flow of data

This tool provides visual insight into the various similarities and data flows. This approach makes it possible to understand the structure and relationships between different data sources and processes in an intuitive way. It helps employees and stakeholders to understand the extent and importance of data exchange within the company, and promotes a clear insight into how information moves through the organization. This facilitates decision-making, optimizes workflows and strengthens data governance.

Infographics to support a MICA license application

For a fintech, we have developed a series of infographics that map financial and operational processes. These visual aids are specifically designed to support the application for a MICA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license. By clearly presenting complex financial flows and operating procedures, the infographics provide insight into how the company works in a way that is both accessible and informative to regulatory authorities.

Applications

Compliance

Issue

It takes valuable time and energy to answer simple compliance questions. Questions with answers that are really in the current policy.

Solution

Transform the linear and textual policy into an interactive click guide. That enables colleagues to find the answer themselves. We can't make it more fun, but we can make it easier.
